Transitional Housing Assistance Upon Successful Completion
Our program offers a one-year resident occupancy. Upon employment, each man will be responsible to pay a weekly board cost as decided by the sliding scale of cost systems. For individuals with little or no job skills or individuals with a compromised background, [criminal felony convictions] a vocational work program is available.
Our vocational program gives men an opportunity to learn the skill of Landscaping & Horticulture. This program is run by Mr. Cobb and is successful within Greater Gainesville. Clients within our program will be given priority hiring.
Our day-to-day operations will follow the schedule that is listed in this brochure. In addition, clients are expected to apply for Food Stamps from the Department Of Children & Families within the first week of arrival. Each client is responsible for his own meal preparation and supplying his own food. Shelter From the Storm will supply food until each man receives his Food Stamp allotment. All chores will be divided equally. Sunday morning is designated as clean-up day.

Expansion Plan
We have a vision to open homes like this in various counties and states as God gives vision & provision. There are also future plans for a women's facility in place.
Mr. Cobb is currently working with the community liaison in Ocala Florida to open a women's facility as well as officials in Cocoa Beach Florida for an additional men's facility.
It is the desire of this ministry to be able to purchase our own property within 3 years and open an additional 10 bed facility in this immediate area.
It is the sincere hope that other ministries in our body will move forward in this like fashion to meet the needs of our communities.
It is the vision of this ministry, to become a omdel program that will serve as a witness to our community about God's love, forgiveness and redemptive power.
Our Mission Statement
We are committed to providing a loving spiritual environment that will empower our residents to successfully integrate back into our society. We believe that this can be accomplished by providing unconditional love, encouragement, spiritual guidance, safe stable housing, counseling, and job development.
